Great shots Sergio, my preference leans toward the shots with the continuum filter.

Re: Full Disc and animated sequence(s)
Nice ones! My best weapon against dust bunnies is to put an IR cut filter on the camera nosepiece as soon as I unbox the camera! The other weapon is the Visible Dust Arctic Butterfly Brush to remove them from the glass covering the chip. Pricey but works really well. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/s...

Thanks everyone for the feedback! Cyber, interesting that the CaK prom shows better structure than the Ha image.

Lots to observe in WL, CaK and Ha 12/6/2023
Got a break in the clouds for 30 minutes so grabbed these quick shots in 3 WL's. Didn't have a lot of time to work on the tuning so the Ha is a bit blotchy but OMG what a lot of structures to give close examination to! Would have loved to do an animation but settled for full disks. Player One Saturn...

Love that animation Peter, what a sweet eruption! I think that must have been the C5.92 flare I noticed on SpaceWeather Live.

Glad you got a glance James. I actually received my SeeStar 50 today by surprise and had just a moment to find the sun and grab this pic through some high clouds. Can’t wait to try this under some night skies.

Re: Almost an X Class 11/28/2023
Yeah, I’m guessing that if Simon had been capturing this animation with the AR on the limb that we would have seen more faint material ejected against the background of the sky compared to this particular image against the surface. There’s a lot of motion in that eruption that is directed straight a...
