If you have ordered the Moonlite with a 2.5" drawtube then it will have a female M68 x 1 thread on it. The Quark has a standard M48x0.75mm (2" filter thread) female thread. The adapter that Mark at JTW Astronomy made for me would work perfectly. Zak my Moonlite draw tube doesn't have a th...

I have a Baader Zeiss 1.25'' diagonal on my Quark and 80/400 f5 scope but I need it for a night time scope and don't really want to purchase another one to put back on the Quark because of the cost. Would a cheaper diagonal degrade the view in any way, if it does then i'll have to fork out for anoth...

Nigel can you tell me why you removed the original focuser then cut the tube by about 140mm then made a 60mm adapter then added a focuser on the end of the adapter. So what I can see is you've cut off 140mm then added on 60mm. Why not cut off 80mm and leave the focuser. Maybe I'm missing something,,...

I don't see any difference turning it from full anti clockwise to full clockwise.
Also has anyone investigated removing the Barlow, which looks like the new Quark soon to be released.
