The CaK looks like it was more difficult to process. Do you think it's focusing? Or the telescope itself? It is a pretty short focal ratio assuming you used it wide open. Chris,at the moment the Surplus shed slit needs some serious cleaning up of its edges as John has mentioned but 600l/mm grating is on the shopping list
along with the multitude of other items i need :)) I have a 2400l/mm in my folded SHG at the moment.

I had shortened the tube so as to work with my PST mod,plus the scope originally had a 1.25" focuser but managed to adapt a 2" job to fit :)

The Lunt solar scope is a disappointment after having seen the detail an SHG can bring out,but it still gets used now and then for quick views visually :)
