Nice pictures. It seems the visible active regions are mostly of the alpha class, is a period of low activity approaching again ?

Beautiful images there, i like them. I want you if you don't mind to post a snapshot or image of your setup using the Quark Combo, i have the same and i have problems with focus, i will find a way to fix, but maybe i should look at proper setup by others so i can see how it is and get started. Processing is really good, the coloring of the sun is like the one you could get visually with the 540 nm narrow band filter

Today I attempted some mosaic composition of some of the active regions visibile these days. I targeted also prominences and filaments which seemed to me significant. Well, I've never done UV narrow band UV imaging myself, but I think there are a lot of details in your pictures and contrast is good. It looks like you have captured some fibirils from the lower chromosphere

Great hand crafted scope, really a unique piece of engineering. Great shots too. The snowy landscape is a beauty even under a cloudy sky.

Very good pictures. I 've never imaged in near UV, but I think the CaK is really detailed and sharp, a difficult undertaking considering that seeing degrades a lot short wavelengths.
