These are excellent Alfred! By far your best yet! Critical tuning of the filters makes all the difference, and these images show it. Hi Alfred, Very good images. I have always wondered about your total isolation of the tube and everything else and I think that is not a good idea. The tube inside will become hotter and hotter as the heat builds up inside and the temperature inside for sure is much higher then ambient temperature....

I have not been as lucky with AR3590. I first saw it on 19 Feb and missed half the number of days because of poor weather. Overall I am happy to have made many recordings which my students will be using for some research work.

These are excellent thanks Alfred! Looking forward to seeing results with the double skybender, my experience is that the crucial one to tilt is the one closest to the camera. Alfred, Very nice on the CaK work. I especially like the two pictures of AR13590. I observed them in detail yesterday. Did your C6R come with the two-speed focuser?
