On its own the SS version is a very capable scope and add in the DSII really boosts its performance, especially on the chromospheric details. Double stacking does reduce the image bright...
I find each version has its own merits, though I prefer the light processing version of the two. It is hard to process to everyones preferences, but in the end process to your liking
