Excellent images, Rainer, with the big active right in the center ! Terrific detail. What scope do you use for white light ? Franco Hi Franco, For white light I use a Takahashi FS-78 with a Canon 1.4X extender now with my new Player One Saturn-M 533 chip. https://rainerehlert.com/00_SCHForum/2024/N...

Hi,
Again Sunny and no clouds in sight. Spot 3615 is really a hot oven.
Spot 3615 measures about 16 Earth diameters, roughly 196,500 km in length.

Hi Paul,
Very good images except the inverted ones where a lot of details get lost as well as in the coloured ones the details get lost too.
Judging the normal B&W images you are in band IMHO

Hi, Sunny again until late midday and here the discs. Now spot 3615 is in flames and in white light one can see the incredible structure or whatever it is called of this spot. I calculated my seeing and it was around 1.25" arcseconds in both cases. https://rainerehlert.com/00_SCHForum/2024/03/F...

Hi, Blue sky in the morning and as usual clouds in the early Midday. Now it is windy as of writing with gusts around 60 km/h. The big bright area is spot 3614 and at the time I imaged a C 5.8 flare was going on. https://rainerehlert.com/00_SCHForum/2024/03/FD_Ha_9Q_20240321.jpg https://rainerehlert....

They have a digital zoom for the sun, moon and planets, but not for deep sky since the zoom only works on the jpg saved to the phone. If you save raw files of a “zoomed” image on the Sun it is simply a crop at the same resolution as a full disk. I think they picked the FL to include room for many D...

Hi, Much much better. I have a question in regards to the SeeStar. The Owl nebula is a real tiny object in the sky. Does the SeeStar have somthing like a digital Zoom? I asl because the focal length is 250mm which in terms of DSO photography is a super wide field. No criticism but the stars all look...

How high is it in your night Sky? Here in Mexico barely at maybe 15° over horizon if I remember well. No chance to get into the telescope.
