It was sunny for an hour or so this morning, so I took the opportunity to collect some rays from the main active regions in Ha. Just missed today's M9.7 flare by around 1.5 hrs, so things had calmed down quite a bit around AR13697 by the time the sky cleared and I got set up in my back garden. Sounds like my sessions of late, Stu, but my clouds are the feathery, cirrus type that also seem to form out of nowhere! 2.4” will be an average. There may be periods of much better seeing that the larger scopes can work with.

One of those frustrating mornings. Out at 06:30 taking my dog for a walk under blue, blue skies from horizon to horizon. Great. Got home, fed the dog and got set up on my driveway and waited for the Sun to pop out from behind a neighbour's tree. Great again.... Snapped off a few SERs of the main act...
