Can't tell you for the ZWO, but the Basler achieved 2200 fps at this size (with internal 12 bits processing, not 10 bits).

Re: New DMK with Sony 174 chip
We usually have plenty of light in solar imaging. With the HaT and the PST Etalon my exposure is about 3ms at F/D 27.5. That gives room for higher throuput.
In white light it is sub ms.
The IMX174 presents very good performances with full 24db gain.

Honestly I don't know Valery.
Readout speed may impact the read out noise, but rather on a CCD sensor than with a CMOS.
The only way to know is it measure the RON in both modes, or ask PGR.

Hello Valery !
There are two modes with PGR cameras : Mode 0 that gives the best speed, and mode 7 that gives the higher quality (and lower speed).
You have to deactivate the Mode7 in Genika options/acquisition/mode7.
The change is applied immediatly and you should see the speed increasing.

I don't agree, in 15 years it did change a lot : - more aperture ! Some years ago most people though that 100mm was the optimal aperture due to the turbulence invincible wall. Now we use 400/500mm in white light, and 280mm in HA :) Filigrees have been shot for the first time by Christian this year, ...

Good sensor, but very difficult to use due to high PRNUs.
I switched to the Basler 1920-155 with the IMX174 and it is much easier to use for very good results.
IMX174 has a very good dynamic range in the Basler (over 12,1 bits measured), I'm surprised the ZWO doesn't show that dynamic ?
