Hi all... Last day before the eclipse hete in Mazatlan and the cloud we had cleared out in time to catch the sunset over the ocean. Thanks for the info Rainer. We are just north of the city of Mazatlan, roughly 20 miles north of the centre line but the difference will be minimal. Regarding the glare, I'm not sure of the cause this time.

I will have to take it all apart and check for sources. I though I had a bit of a light leak but once fixed it still had a lot of glare, so back to the drawing board.

The nose-piece length is the key...I used the same Baader unto for my FD solar and planetary work where i have it set of 1.6x as a result of it mounted closer to the chip.

Hi Alexander... I have attached a pic of the DSII pair on the Orion EON 130 OTA. The tube was not shortened as it reaches focus in its native length but hasn't got much in focus travel left. You will have to do some tests to see if you need to modify the OTA that you have. I had this mounted on a Ce...
