And how is it modified with a Lunt etalon? the train is composed by Baader D-ERF 100 mm free aperture --> Celestron 100ED with Baader focuser --> Lun...

AR 12827-12829 - Halpha
An inviting day for solar imaging with quite still air. AR12827 still looks interesting but seems now decayed compared to few days ago. In white light is disappointing but in H-alpha is a different object. Same for AR12829.
Modified Celestron XLT 100ED, ASI 178MM. Thanks for looking.

he let me know he had heard that re-spacing the C6-R objective to approximately 2.3 mm made an excellent CaK line telescope. very interesting info, thank you. Having re-spaced several refractors I would just like to add that those under f/10 require spacers to be of equal thickness within 0.05 mm o...

Re: Lunt Ca-K 1800 diagonal, ZWO160mm, SW ED100 focus issue
This is a well known problem of some (not all) SW ED refractors, a step inside the mobile tube that prevents inserting long 2" accessories. There is no solution other than replacing the focuser as I made with my own 100ED. I suggest a Baader Steeltrack focuser, this will solve the problem with ...

Agree, want to remove it because is mounted in a barrel slightly larger than 2" that can't be inserted in the 2" focuser of the receiving scope and therefore requires an extension, this put the etalon in the wrong position. If I remove the barrel I can solve the problem.
