Wonderful array of prominences and filaments today. I processed the tif file from AutoStakkert! with ImPPG, usually I do iterative unsharp mask sharpening in Photoshop. I was lucky again to see the sun this morning. I wondered if the very active area was appearing round the limb after the huge CME from the far side a while ago. I don't think there is much to see yet. I caught a B9 flare in AR3259 and there is a nice loop prominence on the southern limb. Robert LS60...

Sun again today which is very lucky just now but I picked a target to animate and like yesterday's features it hardly moved. I caught the M1.1 flare today and tried an animation but it was almost impossible to see any movement. Thanks for the SPOD for 26/27th! It is very unusual to get a cloud free night here and even more unusual to get two together. Coupled with two CMEs it has been an special couple of nights.
