Polarizer Filter for Herschel Wedge
Polarizer Filter for Herschel Wedge
I recently have gotten a Lunt Herschel wedge and I am absolutely loving it. As a secondary polarizer filter to dim the view I have been using half of an inexpensive orion variable polarizer filter. Anyways I was wondering if it would be worth while to invest in a Lunt or Baader Polarizer filter to do this job? Will I get any noticeable improvements in performance?

Re: Polarizer Filter for Herschel Wedge
Thanks for the valuable input Mark and Walter.
I am currently only using my Herschel wedge with a 80mm f/6 telescope with a max magnification around 150X-200X.
