Omega CaK stack

This stack appears to work well and gives a pretty clean and clear image.......BUT
I'm struggling to find an exposure/ gain/ gamma setting either in FireCap or SharpCap which gives acceptable frame rates (with the ASI 174MM)
Definitely better results with lower gain settings.
Can you share your exposure setting for the CaK filter you use?????
Any input appreciated.

I always run neutral gain, with the gain ramped up (power the camera by noise free battery) and the exposure as short as possible, maybe 1-2ms @ f10.

Mark,
Thanks.
What would you call "neutral gain settings"??
I realise there are differences between FireCap and SharpCap.

I think neutral 'gamma' was meant

Hi Ken,

Can you, please, describe this stack as detailed as possible?

Thanks,

Valery

Valery,
It's a stack of three Omega filters - <390nm UV cut, 80nm 394nm cwl, and a 2A 393.7nm cwl. All adapted to 1.125" filter size.
