Looking for Camera Recommendations for a 90mm SolarMax Single Stack Original.
I currently have a ZWO ASI462MC and a QHY183 Mono.
We don't typically get spectacular seeing here in Cincinnati Ohio so a pixel size LARGER than sampling optimum would be desirable ( I assume ).
Thank you!

Hi There
Instead of getting a new camera try stopping down the scope, it will optimise sampling to seeing and will save you a lot of money on a camera...
Alternatively, try 2x2 binning with the 183?
I assume you have no issues with the grid pattern that can affect the camera used in Ha imaging?

I had not considered stopping down the scope, will consider that.marktownley wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 1:20 pm Hi There

YES. I have had issues with the 183 grid pattern so I will have to stop using that camera I suppose. Does Binning remove the grid issue?

Not sure, I don't have that camera. Might be worth trying, but if it does work will certainly improve sampling to seeing if seeing is bad...
