I tried to post a 2000 wide image, and no matter what It always auto scales it for screen height and not like three screens wide. Is this possible?

if you click the bottom image it will display in a lightbox at full size, the top image wont because it is linked.

it really does not open on the screen

This forum uses the largest width Joomla template available.
The maximum immage size uploadable is 2500 px by 2500 px at up to 10,240KB in size. I considered this to be monstrously overstated as the majority of people use 1600 x 1200 (or less) as their screen resolution.

The way the forum works is that it resizes the display of the image to fit inside the Joomla template width. If you click on AN UPLOADED AND ATTACHED image it is supposed to open in a lightbox above the message at a larger size. If it is a linked image it will not show above 1200 pixels. If you (PC only) right click the linked or attached image and choose "open link in new window", it will open the full size image in a new browser window. Also, if you turn off "compatibility mode" in IE the image will display inside the template at full size with scroll bars. If you are on a Mac then it is the size it is.

I choose the widest template out there but there has to be a chosen size. If you guys think it is something you want changed I can probably widen the template. I am not sure what else may come up if I do this though, let me look in to it...

no, no. I see the pic wonderful, but klicking on it does not open the lightbox pic as in other threads.

I have no problem with that. I find "our" site is fantastic, so I have no neeed asking to change anything size wise
