Prominence Animation 20/02/2020

Post by Martin_S »

I have finally finished my first prominence animation consisting of 375 images at 20 second intervals.Thank you Alexandra for your advice on processing and posting. Here is a brief description of my Image acquisition and batch processing.

Captured with Firecapture with my Lunt 60mmSS H-alpha scope , ASI 290mm camera 2x barlow.

Stacking - Autostakert3

Sharpening and alignment - Imppg

Image resizing - IrfanView64

False colour and Gif creation - GIMP

Macro's created with MinI Mouse Macro.

Hope you enjoy the animation, I think the the faint prom is the most interesting.

Martin
