AR12760/61 April 28 150mm telescope

Post by Valery »

Hi all,

It was a nice clear morning. I decided to image the sun with my small telescope - SW150/750 equipped with the
ARIES full size DERF, Quark Chromosphere (about 0.4A bandwidth) and Basler 1920-155 camera.
Seeing was quite variable but my hunting for the best moments finally succeeded.

Working F/D was F/37 at the etalon.

Here are two images: AR12760 and A12760 +AR12761 (together). Both are clickable for a full resolution.

Thanks for looking and likes.

Nice shot Valery! Were you running at 90mm aperture or did you have an additional amplifier infront of the Quark to get you to f37?

Yes, Mark, there is an additional amplifier screwed in the Quark nose. This is a 2x barlow with shortened working space.
