September seems to be a month for very hazy skies when cooler weather brings better daytime seeing. Here in my location, the solar imaging season lasts until the beginning of November, when the sun gets very low and temperature very cold. If there is a special solar event, I will image
using smaller instruments.
The image below was taken with a 180 Mak at 2700 mm (prime) stopped to 150 mm using a Daystar Quark Combo (prominence version).
