Hello everybody: yesterday was a beautiful sunny day with inferior seeing around here. Connecticut was in the middle of the Jetstream. I was out for almost two hours with various scopes, with very mixed results. In sodium, with the 6' refractor, I could see the remains of AR2773 approaching the limb. I bet on using the HaT at full length using the PST etalon but got a very, very soft image, not surprising, showing some action though. I then took out the Solarmax90 SS as we had the gift of a beautiful large and wide prominence: I used it also for the full disk.
Hope you had a good weekend imaging too.
Franco

Thanks Franco for your latest set of images and the weather data too.
No chance for anything other than severe rain storms, but hey it is October...
Cheers
Terry

Thank you John and Eric. Too bad there is Covid: in normal times I would have come to NY to see you...
