With little going on on the sun (except its life supporting functions), I turned towards its sister for imaging.
The moon was 4 days old at this time and imaged while in daylight using an Astronomik 642 filter, both for better contrast and the calming effect it has on the seeing conditions.
The first image is a 6 pane mosaic using a PGR 6Mp Grasshopper a c9.25. Each pane was taken at 2300mm and all were stitched in Photoshop.
Lou
The second image was taken with the same scope as before but using a PGR Chameleon445 (1.3 Mp).

Re: Lunar interlude on June 25
The moon always makes for an interesting target with it's ruggedness, which appears to change as the moon goes through its phases.
Beautiful images, Lou.
