10-07-2020 The day with no shadow at UTC 18:50

Post by rsfoto »

Hi,

Today was the day with the Sun at 90° at the zenith.

I took images for 4 hours and assembled this little 1 minute video.

Hope you enjoy. At the Sub Solar Point I paused the image for 3 seconds.

Nicely done, Rainer. An excellent demonstration of the phenomenon.

I absolutely loved the video! fascinating to see, it really made me smile. Thanks for that Rainer, it is something we never even think about normally :)

I guess you could be a Vampire at that time of day and cast no shadow, but then I bet you would be a dead Vampire too as the Sunlight would kill you
