No Sun, Yes Light

Hi,

I have no Sun but I have light and so I am taking what I find in my Spartanic garden

A Reduviidae "Atrachelus cinereus "¿? bug or also known as Three Spined Assassin Bug ¿?

Flower of a Succulent plant " Purple Heart ", Tradescantia pallida and the other plant on the right side no idea what it is , yet ...

I think your bug is very fashionable, lovely coordinated matching red ends to antenna and feet :)

The purple flower brings back memories, I used to have one as a house plant in my bedroom when I was young. A lovely set of images which reminds me that I took some pictures of the flowers in my garden and I forgot to post them.

How did the little bird get on with all her babies, how many broods and how many fledged?

That one I guess was about 1.5" or 37 mm

Hi Alexandra,

Thanks. 4 were born but only 3 survived but hat was already about 2 months ago. So far no third nesting and I guess there will be no third.

Hi,

I do not know if you noticed it but the bug seems to have eye cataracts. Compare the left eye and the right eye (in the image the left eye is on the right side)

I did see the piece missing from the back of its scale; so I was paying a little bit of attention at least ;)
