Whilst waiting for my Solar-imaging to restart, I tried a new-imaging program for my StarlightXpress Oculus - All Sky Camera tonight.
The attached images show two Meteorites where one is believed to be from the Perseid Meter Shower - currently underway.
No real adjustments were made for these images to refine them, but as the seeing was good I wanted to see how the automatic-side of this program worked and was well pleased with the results over a near three-hour period...
The debris-trail can be seen albeit very faint in the subsequent images. The times are BST (GMT+1)...
The white-line from bottom to top is my HF Radio Long-Wire antennae...

Re: The Perseid Meteor Shower is underway
Thank you Alexandra, Jochen and Rainer.
These were the first images during the initial-testing of the new-computer and cabling and also were taken through a very-good and automatic program which had just been downloaded that day.
I do anticipate some more catches during the height of the Perseid Storm, as long as those pesky clouds stay away, but as I write this, the temperature is 36-degs.C at my weather-station and I suspect up to 50-degs.C in the observatory, so whether I can do some more work there is uncertain for today...
All the Solar-cameras are known to be working through the computer, so was hoping to open the roof for some more tests etc., but we shall see.
Regards
Terry

Re: The Perseid Meteor Shower is underway
I tried imaging some more last-night of 17th August, but after 30-minutes clouds started to roll-in and by midnight was total cloud-cover...

2nd mistook of the day.
The date should have read "7th August" - not the 17th...
