Lyme Regis - Sunrises, fossils and birds

Post by Montana »

Just back from a wonderful two week break in Lyme Regis. We certainly needed it but the internet down there was very slow so I have waited till I got home to post these. A variety of images of sunrises to rainbows and fossils. For the fossils this is the first time sunlight has hit them for 150-200 million years. The last time these animals were alive was in the Jussasic period when they lived in a warm, sunlit shallow sea. Now they are broken out of the cliffs by a cold and windy climate. I hope you don't get bored.
