Reflected Sunlight 77% Waxing Gibbous Moon

Post by Carbon60 »

Hi Folks,

On a chilly clear sky evening here's an enhanced colour image of the Moon.

Image20210123_Moon_Colour by Stuart Green, on Flickr

I was lucky because the clear sky didn't remain clear for long. No thick clouds at the time of posting, but lots of haze/fog as the temperature dropped into the night.

Thanks for looking.

Stu.

Great shot Stu :bow

Nice to see you caught it when you could.

It was to be clear here overnight, but it has managed to cloud over at sunset. If it clears it will be cold btu will go out if I can.

Yes Stu - a 15 out of 10 image - showing the delicate colours of our nearest neighbour.

Thanks vm for suffering the cold for this beautiful image...

Cheers

Many thanks, Franco & Phil.

Phil, It's something I'd been thinking of doing for quite some time, but only recently did I get around to giving it a go. My results have been a bit hit and miss depending on the conditions and my technique.
