You got a very nice set of images there Stu, I was hoping for sun this morning, but, alas it is cloudy, maybe will clear up in a bit.

Hi Mark,
It’s brighter here, but really hazy. The outlook doesn’t look good.

Another excellent set, Stu. How do you keep the full disks so perfectly and evenly illuminated, if I may ask ?

Hi
When I first looked at the first proms you image I thought there was a thin arch connecting them.
The top low prom looked like a tiger with curved down tail and with some imagination the flare prom a ring master with whip.
Cheers. Andrew.

Re: Solar Harvest 3rd August 2021
Hi Franco,
No secrets ... I spend quite a bit of time clocking and tuning the etalons, which when triple stacked gives me a bit of a headache. Sometimes everything just falls into place; other times I have to tweak and tweak and still I end up with slight unevenness. Sometimes I have to build from the bottom up.... No front etalons, just the internal pressure tuned etalon, which I get on band, then add the first external etalon and tweak and then add the second etalon and further tweak....and tweak again
The FD is a mosaic of multiple panes to try to even out any irregularities.
