FD 01-27 LS60MT SS

Hello,

Here is my monochrome inverted image from the sun yesterday. I hit branches part way through so I had issues stitching, which you can see by the band going across. A friend luckily helped me out to be able to get the stitching to work, but my fault while imaging. Overall, decent given the circumstances. I also tried a bit different processing by having the prominences extremely bright. Just something different.

Nice shot Dan! What you refer to as flares are actually prominences. This book has been recommended by many others for those getting into solar observations to better understand the different features we can see in different wavelengths. Great reference!
