Well clouds all day but went for the gaps managing 100-200 frames per avi and some even through the clouds.Some great limb activity coming and going and plenty of filaments to boot.I then managed a quick trip to my local windmill.

Glad you got some solar time Derek. Love the Windmills man, I grew up servicing and repairing them with my dad.

The windmill brings back memories of when I first bought a place out in the countryside. We had no electricity to pump water for my cattle so to insure an ample supply a windmill was brought from an area where the electric service had been brought in to the farmers. That windmill didn't pump but about half a gallon a minute but would run as long as the wind blew so kept all the water troughs full throughout the year. It was sort of fun to work on, change the oil, etc. too. Mostly it was nice to see it working for free.
