News from Drôme, France

Hi all,

i'm in eygalayes, Drôme, south of France, for one week, with 15 other astronomers (This is my 20th year!!).

This morning, seeing was very good, so i imaged the Sun.

Refractor TSA120 + Vixen Sphinx SXD (with NexSXD kit) +2 Solarmax 90 in double stack + BF15 + Barlow Baader VIP + camera Point Grey Grasshopper3 ICX674 :

Imaged with Firecapture, processed with AS!2, wavelets Registax6
Mosaic of 6 panes with Photomerge, finished with CS5

a very fine result from that session


Only stardust in the wind, some fine and some less fine scopes, filters and adapters as well. Switzerland 47 N, 9 E, in the heart of EUROPE :)

from 7 am - 7 pm http://www.nanosys.ch

from 7.01 pm - 6.59 am http://www.wastronomiko.com some times vice versa ;)
