Large hedgerow proms 27th March

Post by Carbon60 »

Very briefly this morning the skies were clear enough to take a few AVIs. The Sun is putting on a great display of large hedgerow proms in the North East and AR2035 is still looking menacing.

Clouds rolling in made for a quick imaging session!

Gorgeous proms Stuart :bow :beanie: :bow

I was so caught up trying to get high res detail with the Quark and Equinox 120 that I never got around to a full disc. Pity as your image showing the giant hedgerow 'in situ' is very impressive.

It would be interesting to compare the size of this prom to the famous "Anteater" prom of June 1946.

The start of David Attenboroughs 'Life on Earth' TV series featured this prom too

These opening credits are always something that held a fascination for solar with me...
