Solar Outreach at Albury, NSW

I had the pleasure of visiting the Astronomical Society at Albury/ Wodonga last week, and assisted in their outreach program in the main street of Albury.
We had two PST set up and over the period attracted >30 observers....

I was interested in the differences between the two very well used (!!!) PST. One was an original PST with a "Rusted" objective and the other was a later "Blue" objective.
I have to say the etalon (good bandwidth and tuning) in the "Rusted" PST was much better than the other (which I think also has probably a failed ITF)
Interesting........

My experience showed that etalons in very old PST with IR coated (and rusted) objectives are MUCH worser than
in the PSTs with blue objectives, but which have been made about 6-8 years ago.
