Sol from the 19th of December 2017.

Post by eroel »

Hi:
Today it was hazy and windy, so before lunch I went up to the roof observatory and aimed the Solarmax 90-DE-BF30 and also the 102mm f/9 Meade refractor fitted with a CaK filter from a CaK PST, I used the same camera (SKYnyx 2-2) for both FD´s.
Thanks for looking and wish you all a Merry X´mas.
Eric.

Nice images. I think that pencil-thin filament is the thinnest I've ever seen.

Spectacular images, Eric. If I might ask - what is the difference between the one with "spline2" in the label and the previous?

Alexandra and guys, thank you all for the nice feedback, much appreciated.
David, Spline2 is a German software that makes images bigger or smaller, the one that has the Spline 2 legend, is 1.5X bigger than the original 2an image, you can open it in another window and you will see it bigger.
Best X´mas wishes to all of you and the rest of the worldwide fórum.
Eric.
