Just before high noon I can assemble my Lunt152 so that it is in sunlight but I can sit in the partial shade of my house for some protection from the
harsh sun for a short time. The original stacked tiffs were not much to look at but some more aggressive than usual processing worked miracles.

Re: A scorcher on July 1
Hi Lou...
Great shots
The summer came on full throttle this weekend...35.5C here Saturday, 35.4 yesterday, and even though a thunder storm passed through just before the noon hour here the humidity is back and the sun is out an pushing the mid 30's again. Not sure if the urban 'heat sink' made conditions worse for you or not, but certainly wouldn't help much!
I imaged yesterday morning and again today before the clouds rolled in, so I'm hoping to have some pics to post later today.
Take care,
Brian

Re: A scorcher on July 1
Hi, Brian
I'll look forward to your posts.
Here in Vaughan, the humidity wasn't too bad but as soon as you stepped out into the outside air, it was like being hit with
a flash of heat like I remember when I once went on a tour of the Stelco plant in Hamilton. Considering the high temperature,
I was surprised at how well images turned out.
I'm currently waiting for a somewhat rare 0.8X c mount focal reducer already ordered which can likely be decreased to 0.7X using a spacer to knock down the efl of my c9.25 + 3X telecentric from 6900mm to about 5000mm.
I'm also ordering a new laptop that can use PCIe NVMe SSD's for some really fast write speeds so that recording high frame rate videos
at 16 bits doesn't overload the buffer and stop the recording.
