Spotless 12724 & 12725 and small prom

Post by krakatoa1883 »

Not much to see today, the Sun is again spotless and only a very minor activity at the limb was present this morning (Italian time). I imaged the zone where the last active regions developed, no details apart granulation and plages. Spicules were evident all along all the limb in CaH but the wavy seeing did not allow to take any defined image. A modest prom located on the NE limb was immediately apparent through my Quark, plus some other very minor features on the W limb.

Nice prom work - looks like a worthy target.

Nice Calcium surface!

I'm always curious about proms with the Quark CaH?

Very best,

Thanks Alexandra, thanks Franco. Five small spots appeared yesterday in the same region but I couldn't image them and today have disappeared.
