Software Section On The Forum

Post by marktownley »

Just floating this out here to gauge your thoughts; I wondered about creating a 'Solar Software' section on? Basically as the name suggests....

So, like the ImPPG abd SSM posts i've got pinned at the moment would have their own dedicated section. I know we've had several similar in the past, so as we come across these could migrate them to this section too.

Thoughts / suggestions etc?

Me too. Sounds good, Mark. Keep things easy to access.

Mark,
I like the concept...
What criteria do we apply? Discussions on the actual software? or examples (could be an issue?) using the software?
Do we have a suggested list of software which should/ could be included?
(There are some tutorials already in the Library)

Very good!
I have a post saved which goes through NeatImage in a detailed manner, that post could be added?

I was wondering recently whether we could have a section for wildlife/nature (Sunlit Earth) section on the forum? or will it start getting too complicated.

Good idea Mark.
Software has become very important in capture/processing so it sounds good to have it all in 1 place.

OK, i've created it. Flag up your software topics you'd like migrating and i'll get them moved over. :)
