Evening sunshine 5th May

Post by Montana »

Just a quick one through the PSTs this evening before tea.
I think maybe a possible cycle 25 region as it has opposite polarity to AR12740. All taken with CaK and DS Halpha PST/DMK41

Nice full disks Alexandra. I agree, it is cycle 25 activity, it was crackling yesterday as a coronal bright point. I don't think it will develop into a spot / active region but it is a tell tale of cycle 25. We had cloud all day today so we went to a beer festival - hic!

Really beautiful H-alpha disk. It has to be the combination of a very good PST plus your capability of processing these full disks really good!

Very nice images, Alexandra!

And we all congratulate you with the discovery of the evidence of the cycle 25 beginning.

Valery
