Close to AR2741 ... Quark Prominence ... UPDATE
Close to AR2741 ... Quark Prominence ... UPDATE
The seeing was fairly well this morning.
The first image is taken close to the region AR2741.
"Quark CHROMOSPHERE" - IMX 174MM camera without reducer.
For the second image I used for the first time the "Quark PROMINENCE" with the same camera as above.
The Quark Prominence filter was standard set in the middle, I must find out the best Quark settings for the better proms (clockwise or counter clockwise ???).
Yesterday I had not enough time for the last image.
The FOV is a little bigger then the previous picture.
Same setup as yesterday of course ... today some rain and a lot of clouds ...

Those prom images are super, Maurits. I was just out with the Lunt 50 and saw them: they were beautiful to look at, but your images captured all the drama.

Beautiful shots, Maurits.
I love inverted disk views. I don’t know whether it’s psychological but they seem to reveal more detail.
Cheers.
