Lovely red Sun, Pedro; a much more realistic rendition of the view in hydrogen alpha.
Nice views across the spectrum.

Very good Pedro! What are your impressions of the 290M compared to your usual Grasshopper?

Re: Today's SUN (20190607) | ZWO ASI 290MC
Thanks guys
The ASI290MC is a nice camera but it does not compare to my PGR (FLI) Grasshoppers. It is great for imaging planets though
Technical Specs (ASI 290MC) :
Sensor: 1/2.8" CMOS IMX290/IMX291
Resolution: 2.1Mega Pixels 1936×1096
Pixel Size: 2.9µm
ST4 Guider Port: Yes
ROI: Supported
Interface: USB3.0/USB2.0
Shutter Type: Rolling Shutter
Bit rate: 12bit output(12bit ADC)
Weight: 120g or 4.2 ounces (without lens)

Re: Today's SUN (20190607) | ZWO ASI 290MC
Superb shots Pedro...well done
I agree the 290 is a great camera for planets, I have the mono version and can put it on the C14 without any barlows and get the resolution I want. I don't use for solar often, but it seems to do a nice job on the LS80T with no barlows too.

Re: Today's SUN (20190607) | ZWO ASI 290MC
I'm thinking of getting one for the SM90 for this exact reason.MapleRidge wrote: ↑Mon Jun 10, 2019 10:51 pm
