Prominence, Sunday 8/18

Post by Dave S » Sun Aug 18, 2019 8:47 pm

This active little prom gave me a nice break from the solar doldrums today. It changed quite a bit while I waited for holes in the clouds.

I do like the camera's combination of speed, size, SNR, and price. I don't like the Newton's rings, though. Sometimes my images are at odd orientations because I rotate the camera to minimize the interference pattern.
