Full Disk Ha - October 28th

Good day everyone...

I had a quick session with the double stacked LS80T scope around the noon hour yesterday and grabbed some images to assemble the composites below. Visually the bright region just over the SE limb was visible, but my eye did not catch much else, though some very nice proms came up with the camera.

All imaged through the LS80T/DSII/B1200Ha, and the first is with the PGR camera (ICX674 CCD):

The next composite was made from images with the ZWO 174MM camera a nosepiece barlow that boosted the focal length a bit:

I also managed to get the DSII etalon to focus on the C9.25 Edge but I am still processing the images, and I was clouded out today so no round two of mod testing. That will have to wait for a few days while the incoming rain clears.

Mark, #2 looks good to me as well even through the resolution per pixel is almost the same in the end.

The proms really made the day, but the filament and active spot made for some extra targets. There seems to be a number of brighter 'spots' in the north polar region as well.
