animation on our star on November 26th

Post by banjo »

Hello everyone,
not a day to picture, but when I saw on Gong protus on the limb I can not resist, the sky was really not the party, fortunately the Ha passes through the clouds.
2 animations in reduced format because really indigestible

Very fine animations, Paul. Interesting plasma flow patterns in the first one. You captured the faint proms nicely as well. Thanks for the show.

A great show, Paul. A very wide and complex prominence. How long was the solar activity for the first animation ? One hour and a half ? The animation seems to be about 9 seconds long.

Well done Paul for getting such good animations in these conditions. The first looks like Sloth slowly climbing the limb, it made me smile :) the second is so faint, so well done for capturing that detail :bow :bow :hamster:

Hello everyone,

thanks for your messages, i will try to answer in my english Google translation, sorry.

the first animation is from 11:08 to 11:51 UT - 80 images (~ 1i / 30s) gain = 168 exposure = 10ms gama = 53, 17 images selected on .SER 200i with Firecapture and ASI174 , .Gif = 8i/s
the second animation is from 09:35 to 10:54 - 87 images (~ 1i / 30s) gain = 174 exposure = 22ms gama = 36, 6 images selected on .SER 200i with Firecapture and ASI174 , , it was really very pale, with no contrast in the clouds.

Superb animations Paul, are you using any guiding software or a solar guider?
