halpha sun of December 29th

Post by stef41 »

good morning, everyone,

on vacation, from the blue sky, the opportunity to draw his portrait to our star with minimalist activity!
As for the prominences, I found two of them by scrutinizing the first image (not seen with the eyepiece) and a very small active area where, it seems, a micro stain hides inside...
Apart from that, a sun not very high and a maximum of turbulence (hence a reduction to 75% of the images).

Otherwise, still at the fs60 with its sm40 double stack, glasspath x1.25, BF10 and zwo178mm on staradventurer around 11h30 UT.

Looking good Stéphane. The AR is also still looking pretty crisp.
