Another clear day. That makes two in row! GONG showed what looked like surge proms developing so I set the LS80 up. I was too slow and saw no surge proms nor the new AR rounding the limb. I did check the progress of AR2755 and found it less energetic than yesterday but still rather nice with neighboring filaments. Here's a FD overview and a closeup of AR2755 using the 5x Powermate.

It is amazing how dark those two prominences are. Very easy to see, even at a low 16x in my Coronado SolarMax II.
