Although a little hazy and not much solar excitement, it was nice to get some sunshine. Images were taken with a LS 80 with and without a 5x Powermate and although the scope lacks the wow factor, it sure beats just staring at the Sun.
Here's my take on the 13th of January.

Hi Phil,
Very good images. Like the full disc. Maybe atiny trial in better tuning ¿? I know it is difficult with the famous little golden wheels ...

Nice set of images, Phil. I wouldn't say they lack any "wow factor", especially the closeups look brilliant.

Really nice collection of images Phil. The scope definitely has a wow to it.

Nice images, Phil.
Your full disks are beautifully uniform. Nice close views too.

These are super Phil
I know what you mean about the full disc, after seeing Rainer's DS full disc I have never been quite happy with my Solarscopes recently. I spent ages tuning and I can't replicate Rainer's, my full discs are very similar in bandwidth to yours.

Re: Jan 13, 2020 FDs +
Thanks for the kind comments and encouragement. Much appreciated.
Rainer, I agree that tuning could use a little adjusting. With the pressure tuning controls it seems I get tired of turning the knobs berore it gets tuned properly. I will persevere.
Alexandra, I have never noticed a bandwidth issue in your images. With this little Lunt scope, I can address the tuning but the bandwith is what it is. Sometimes perfection seems just out of reach.
Thanks again, and clear skies.

Great discs, the first image is particularly well balanced.
