Full disk 29-06-2020

Post by rsfoto »

Hi,

Some more Sun today after a good rainfall of today very early in the morning. 20 mm of Rain.

There are a lot of filaproms as well as some filaments on the surface and prominences on the limb.

The know in the Northeastern quadrant at about +19° and -36°has cycle 25 polarity.

On the Southwestern limb at -25° there is a shiny prom which seems to be from the spor we saw yersterday. Was that a flare ?

All in all I see the whole Sun surface abit stormy compared to images from about 5-6 days ago. Is that a sign that the Sun is awakening ?

In White Light not much visible except some small plagues on the poles.

Thank goodness for proms and filaments, not much more to see. Hopefully the AR approaching the E limb will bring some surface action.

Thanks for the awesome view Rainer. The proms in the NE and NW look really good. White light looks blank. I was clouded out today. :(

Absolutely stunning full disc as usual Rainer, exceptional detail and I always love your presentation :hamster: :bow

The disc is certainly a lot more lively than last week, you say whether this is a sign the Sun is waking up, no, it is a sign that the weather in the UK is extremely poor
