The Sun - 13th September 2020

Post by David_The_Bears_Fan »

Poor weather, lots of work and low activity levels mean I haven't imaged the Sun in a few weeks now. Still low activity levels but did catch some better weather today so decided to grab something quick. There was still quite a stiff breeze and some passing clouds so I decided to go with the Bresser so I could do full disk in one rather than trying to get 6 panes with the Evostar! So I managed to get WL and Ca-K disks with a small prominence showing in Ca-K. I did fire up the Quark for a bit of visual but the low activity levels meant that I decided not to bother imaging in HA.

Nice set of disks there, David.

When it finally clears up for a bit; there's not much activity going on. That's how that always goes :)
