Haven't Seen the Sun in Weeks...Fires

Post by Starry Jack » Mon Sep 14, 2020 2:13 am

I know I live in a very Solar Happy Place (Southern California), but now I know how fortunate I have it. The California Fires have blocked out my skies 24/7 for weeks with more weeks forecast. I'm safe from the fires for now, but know family and friends in the path. It gives me a feeling for those of you who only get clear skies occasionally.

My best to you all,
Grateful Jack

Jack,
I did not know you lived in southern California since your location is not shown on your right side profile. I wondered why I had not seen much from you lately. I will remember to pray for your family and friends in the path of those fires. Stay safe and I hope you get clear skies soon.

Have you ever made it out to Big Bear Lake and Big Bear Solar Observatory?

Blessings

James

Eric,
Thank you, much.

James,
The prayers mean the world to me, thank you. I am indeed blessed and my family is safe. Over the years we have come close to the annual fires...as close as 2 miles and we have housed evacuees even.

My mom sold the family cabin relatively near Big Bear Lake last year, though I never made it to Big Bear itself.

You've made me smile,
Jack

Jack,
I have noticed that GONG Big Bear has been down for over a week. Probably because of the fires.

Jack: prayers and best wishes for all of you in California. These fires are devastating.
