I know I live in a very Solar Happy Place (Southern California), but now I know how fortunate I have it. The California Fires have blocked out my skies 24/7 for weeks with more weeks forecast. I'm safe from the fires for now, but know family and friends in the path. It gives me a feeling for those of you who only get clear skies occasionally.

The prayers mean the world to me, thank you. I am indeed blessed and my family is safe. Over the years we have come close to the annual fires...as close as 2 miles and we have housed evacuees even.
My mom sold the family cabin relatively near Big Bear Lake last year, though I never made it to Big Bear itself.

Jack, I didn't realise, stay safe! these fires are truly awful and I pray that the weather will change soon and put an end to this fire season. I pray for clear skies and safety for you all.
