22 Nov 2020 a lot of activity in WL & Ha

Hello,
There's a lot of activity today : beyond the current ARs, a new sunspot is emerging at the SSW limb and nice proms at the NE and SW limbs.
Pleasant imaging session: good transparency and average/decent seeing, stable throughout the morning.
Currently processing pictures, will add them to the thread.

Here are the WL images

WL photographic setup:
80ED scope + 2" UV/IR cut + 2" Baader solar continuum (on 80mm extension tubes) + ND3 filter & dual stacked 2x barlows on camera nose
Basler acA1920-155um

Since the seeing was nice, I stacked a 2nd barlow and ventured in some closeups of the current sunspots

Here are Ha and proms:

Ha setup
SS60 Quark etalon on an 80ED scope
Basler acA1920-155um + polarizing filter on camera nose

I added a polarizing filter between the Quark and the camera, adjusting it for maximum transmission. I had to increase the exposure time to 50ms, but the contrast and the detail improved significantly: could it be that my etalon has significant off-band spillage?

For the first time I was able to see both chromosphere and proms in the same picture!

The new region at the southern limb is torching happily:
